Why cannot We Play with Words?

We have heard this phrase many times,
A picture is worth than a thousand words.
But, why cannot we stop here and give it a critical look?
I do agree that, as compared to words, a picture can more easily convey a message. And also that, in today's technological era, people react more to videos and photos than to simple text. But wait! is that all about words? do we mean text when we say "words"? not really.



Words mean both simple texts and oral words. When you sit in front of a camera and talk to your followers, that is also the game of words. Let me reveal one interesting thing about words to you.

A picture may seem more preferable to convey a message but it cannot and can never Stir an action within a single soul or a crowd. Only words has the guts to stir action. And in the end, the ultimate purpose is Action.
So, which is worth? words or a Picture?



Let me take you to a real-life situation where words play a significant role to see the desired action.




How many times you acted the way your teachers/parents/boss wanted and still you were fully happy?

how many times it occurred to you that you wanted to act differently?



In ancient times, punishment or in simpler words force was used to make others act your way. There was never a concept of two-way communication.  You were asked to act in a certain way, and you were bound to do it. But today's life is different. With more information on how others from across the globe behave in certain situations, people are getting obsessed with punishment and force.

If today, you apply the same rules of force, that will be a blunder on your part.



But to your surprise, even today people rely on those ancient practices.




We are forced to look similar or rather acceptable to a certain dress code, to be on time in class, to refrain from smoking, to refrain from having mobile when we are a kid.




Why cannot we play with words?

Why cannot you motivate students to act your way?
Why cannot you convince people that smoking is bad for health?
Why cannot you be a role model for your kids?



Why cannot we give a reason for people to follow us?

or why are we so desperate to move people our way?



Why cannot we let people live their lives?




Simply, tell people why they should follow you, and you will get sincere followers. those who don't care will move their way.




If all people were to please us then Why God, the Almighty, gave us free will? Why He did not bind us to follow one religion? I mean why He gave us so many choices of religions? Why He made us with diverse capabilities?

God has perfectly played with words.
He revealed Qur'an and then left us to think where we should go. Now those who believe in Him and follow His teachings, are with Him, the rest will meet their destination whatsoever.



That is why He advised Muhammad (SAW) to just preach and let the consequences with Allah Himself.




So, the point is, we have to learn to play with words and give people a reason to follow us and let others live as they please.
